How long is a standard hire?

Choose half-day, full-day or weekend. For school/church events with fixed time slots, we’ll align delivery/collection to your program.

Do you require a deposit and what payments do you accept?

Yes, a deposit secures your booking. We accept EFT, card, and SnapScan. Balance is usually due before delivery or on arrival.

Do you offer packages?

Do you deliver to all suburbs in Cape Town and surrounds?

Yes — see Service Areas for the full list. Outlying towns (e.g., Stellenbosch, Paarl, Wellington) may have a minimum order or travel fee.

Do you set up and collect, or must we do it?

We handle setup and collection. You simply confirm the position and provide access and power. We anchor on grass with stakes ~380 mm long and 16 mm thick (EN 14960 guidance) or use weights on hard surfaces. HSE / PIPA guidance.

What type of surface is needed?

Grass, paving, artificial turf, or indoors all work. We use stakes on grass or weights on hard/indoor surfaces (no damage), plus safety mats at entrances/exits.

How much space is needed?

Allow the castle footprint plus at least 1 m clearance on all sides, and check overhead clearance (ceilings, trees, eaves).

Can you set up at public parks?

Yes — with permission/booking from the City of Cape Town (see Regulations & Permits). Small events may not need a full event permit, but you still need permission to use public space. City of Cape Town event & parks info.

Do you provide extension cords and blowers?

Yes — standard kit is included. A nearby 220–240 V outlet is ideal. If there’s no power, we can provide a generator sized for the blower(s).

Safety, Weather & Hygiene

Supervision: a responsible adult must supervise at all times. Separate toddlers from bigger kids and stop use if rules aren’t followed (shoes, sharp objects, flips).

Wind: international guidance is clear: do not operate inflatables above 24 mph (≈38 km/h; Beaufort 5). Use an anemometer and follow the unit’s manual; some units have lower limits. If wind approaches the threshold, pause/deflate until safe. HSE / local authority guidance

Rain: light showers may require pausing and drying; heavy rain can be unsafe (slip/electrical risk). We’ll advise on site and can reschedule/credit when weather is unsuitable.
